Red Carnation Tutorial



You will find the 2 carnation tubes HERE.
You will also need Toadies filters, you can find them here
Open a 500 x 500 transparent canvas
Flood fill with black
Copy the Red-Carnation tube and paste as a new layer
Duplicate
Close of the duplicate and on the original apply Toadies - Picasso's Another Word - Default setting
Then Toadies - Ommadawn - Default settings
Activate duplicate layer and resize by 85% - Bicubic - All Layers UNCHECKED
Apply default drop shadow. Merge Visable
Copy and paste carn-bud tube as a new layer
Resize by 40% - bicubic - All Layers UNCHECKED
Rotate - Free Rotate - Right 45 and place in left corner
Duplicate - Image Mirror - Duplicate - Image Flip - Duplicate - Image Mirror
Close off merged layer and Merge Visible the bud layers
Duplicate, close duplicate and on merged bud layer apply the Picasso's Another Word and Ommadawn effect again with same settings
Un hide all layers and Merge Visible
Add new layers for watermark and any text
Merge all flatten and resize to your liking, I resized 75% - Bicubic - All Layers Checked
Add a border of choice. Here's how I did mine:
Image - Add Border - 2 - #C00000
Image - Add Border - 5 - #ffffff
Select white border with magic wand and flood fill with pattern of choice
I used selection tool to choose some of the carnation to make a pattern
While still selected apply a Inner Bevel
Select None
Image - Add Border - 2 - #C00000
Thats it your done, just save as a jpg
